Riyadh, The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The report said that thunderstorms, accompanied by active surface winds, will be witnessed on Makkah, Madinah, Tabuk, Northern Borders, Jawf, Hail, Eastern, Qassim and Riyadh regions, while fog will be seen, during the night and early morning hours on Jazan, Assir, Baha, Makkah, (Taif) and Madinah regions, reducing the horizontal sight.
The report showed that the surface wind movement on the Red Sea will be westerly to northwesterly, gradually turning northerly at a speed of 25-50 km/h, on northern and central parts and southeasterly to southwesterly, gradually turning westerly to northwesterly on the southern part at a speed of 25-50 km/h, while the surface wind movement on the Arabian Gulf will be northeasterly to easterly gradually turning southeasterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h.
