Madinah: The Wifada Volunteer Association for Madinah Visitors Service, with support from the Ehsan Platform, launched a water distribution initiative, which will last for two weeks.
The initiative is one of the prominent projects carried out by the association, with an expected plan to distribute 5.7 million water bottles by over 70 volunteers.
Association executive director Hussein Al-Walani stressed the association’s dedication to serving visitors of Madinah, noting that Wifada is one of the most important volunteer associations affiliated with the National Center for Non-Profit Sector and operates under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
He pointed out that the association implements various volunteer programs and launches initiatives that contribute to providing excellent services to pilgrims and visitors of Madinah and the Prophet’s Mosque. The efforts reflect the true and bright image of the wise leadership’s interest and care in providing the best services to visitors of the
Two Holy Mosques, including pilgrims and Umrah performers. The association also attaches special attention on training and qualifying service providers and developing all services offered to pilgrims.
