The Cleaning and Improvement Fund of Sana'a Sana'a province, in collaboration with the General Administration of Neighborhood Affairs, on Wednesday held a workshop focused on the role of neighborhood heads in improving cleanliness and environmental protection. The workshop aimed to educate neighborhood leaders from the New Sana'a district on maintaining public cleanliness, fostering direct communication with the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, and addressing environmental challenges. Participants discussed prevalent issues such as improper waste disposal and its impact on public spaces. Province's undersecretary for the Services Sector Fares al-Kahali emphasized the crucial role of neighborhood leaders in environmental awareness and waste management. Province advisor Abdullah al-Marwani and executive director of the Fund Fahd Attia praised ongoing efforts and stressed the need for enhanced cooperation and resources to overcome challenges. The workshop concluded with recommendations for increasing public a wareness, respecting hygiene workers, and reporting violations to improve cleanliness and environmental conditions in the province.
