Dubai: Miral, Abu Dhabi's leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences, announced today at the Arabian Travel Market that the expansion of Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi is scheduled to open to the public this summer. This phase of the waterpark's expansion will significantly enhance Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi's offerings, introducing 12 new rides and slides, alongside new dining options, promising aquatic thrills for guests of all ages.
According to Emirates News Agency, young thrill-seekers will be delighted by the introduction of Al Sahel Junior, the region's first mini zero-gravity boomerango, featuring drops, winding slides, and vertical zooms. Additionally, Dawwama Junior, a smaller version of the park's tornado slide, and Rimal Racer, where little ones can race side-by-side, are set to excite young guests.
Dr. Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO, Miral, expressed excitement about the expansion, stating that it underscores their commitment to positioning Yas Island as a top global entertainment and leisure destination. He highlighted that the new attractions will offer unparalleled aquatic adventures, creating lasting memories for families and thrill-seekers.
Families can also enjoy new adventures, including Mataha Madness, a maze of twists and turns; Sadaf Swirl's swirling excitement; Bahamut's Rage, a high-thrill log flume water ride; and Bandit's Playground, a dynamic splash zone filled with rides and surprises. These additions bring the waterpark's collection to over 57 rides, slides, and attractions.
