Zayed Charitable & Humanitarian Foundation sends relief aid to people of Gaza as part of operation Gallant Knight 3

ABU DHABI: The Zayed Charitable Humanitarian Foundation is continuing to provide relief aid to the people of the Gaza Strip as part of the Galant Knight 3 humanitarian operation, which was launched by the UAE to support the Palestinians.

The aid provided by the Foundation includes medical equipment, ambulances, food parcels, winter kits for women and children, lighting devices, cooking equipment, tents, and other relief materials aimed at easing the suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza.

This aid reflects the UAE’s approach of showing solidarity and humanitarian cooperation, and embodies the humanitarian principles established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in strengthening charitable efforts.

Since the start of humanitarian Operation Gallant Knight 3, the Foundation has affirmed its commitment, based on its humanitarian principles, to provide necessary assistance to the Palestinian people. Efforts are being made to deliver a wider range of aid and supplies to the people in the Gaza Strip, i
ncluding medical supplies, medications, and other essential items.

The UAE charitable organisation also highlighted the productive collaboration between institutions and entities engaged in charitable and humanitarian work in the country under the umbrella of the Galant Knight 3 humanitarian operation. This aims to promote humanitarian and volunteer values in response to the vision of the wise leadership and the UAE strategy to offer various forms of support to the Palestinian people.

In implementation to the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE has launched the Tarahum – for Gaza Campaign to provide relief to Palestinians affected by the war in the Gaza Strip.

The country dispatched urgent medical and relief aid and launched the Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian operation on November 5, 2023, to offer humanitarian support to the Palestinian people in Gaza. This initiative exemplifies the values of solidarity and cooperation with them, including the establishment of
a comprehensive field hospital within the Gaza Strip and the construction of six desalination water plants with a total capacity of 1,200,000 gallons per day to benefit over 600,000 people in the Gaza Strip.
