Tripoli: Deputy of the Presidential Council "Abdullah Al-Lafi" received today, Sunday, the German Ambassador to Libya "Ralph Tarraf" on the occasion of assuming his duties from the capital, Tripoli. The Libyan Presidential Council said that "Al-Lafi" welcomed the new German ambassador, wishing him success in performing his duties, praising Germany's keenness to find a political and peaceful solution to the Libyan crisis, through the Berlin track, stressing at the same time the importance of combining all local and international efforts to build peace in Libya and restore security and stability. For his part, the German ambassador conveyed the greetings of his country's government to the Presidential Council, stressing its readiness to provide all support to make the political process a success and achieve the aspirations of the Libyan people by holding the electoral entitlements and achieving permanent stability and peace.
