Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has unveiled a strategic collaboration with e and enterprise, the digital transformation division of e and, to foster an advanced industrial ecosystem in Abu Dhabi. This initiative is anchored by AI-powered Industry 4.0 and sustainable manufacturing practices, reflecting the emirate's ambition to develop a productive and globally competitive industrial base in line with its economic vision.
According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership was announced during the 'Make it in the Emirates' 2025 (MIITE) event. It aims to empower industrial firms in Abu Dhabi with access to proof-of-concept technologies, ready-made solutions, and curated knowledge programs that tackle real-world challenges and enhance operational value. The collaboration aligns with Abu Dhabi's goals to excel in sustainable, export-oriented industries driven by digital innovation and skilled talent.
ADIO and e and enterprise plan to conduct expert-led workshops to promote sector-wide engagement, focusing on practical guidance and strategic implementation. These sessions will cover vital topics such as industrial sustainability, data management, and the ethical use of AI-driven data in manufacturing. The workshops will be supported by joint publications to advance policy dialogue and enrich the industrial knowledge base.
Recognizing the role of human capital in driving transformation, ADIO and e and enterprise will provide tailored assessments to boost digital readiness among Abu Dhabi manufacturers. This includes free materiality assessments, AI maturity evaluations, and discounted in-depth AI assessments for early adopters. Participating companies will also gain access to a digital sustainability platform for streamlined reporting, alongside curated training programs to enhance the skills of both frontline employees and C-level executives across the industrial sector.
The partnership will also facilitate the production of applied research, including white papers that examine emerging global trends at the intersections of industrial AI, data maturity, and sustainable manufacturing, and their relevance to Abu Dhabi's industrial landscape. These papers aim to reinforce Abu Dhabi's role in shaping best practices and regulatory discussions within the sector.
