Abu Dhabi: EDGE, a prominent entity in national security and defence, has forged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ADG Mobility, a South African company known for its expertise in producing protected vehicles, subsystems, and components. The MoU signifies a collaborative effort to enhance the manufacturing of specialised land systems equipment in the UAE.
According to Emirates News Agency, the announcement was made during the Make It in the Emirates forum, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 19th to 22nd May. This strategic partnership aims to establish a framework for future collaboration in the design, development, and manufacturing of specialised land systems equipment, including vehicles, within the UAE.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Jasem Alzaabi, Vice President of Business Development (Trading and Mission Support) at EDGE, and Dr. Stefan Nell, Chief Executive Officer of ADG Mobility. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdulmunem Alshehhi, Chief Operations Officer at TRUST, and Syed Haroon, Manager of Engineering and Development at TRUST.
