Ajman Crown Prince Engages in Talks with Chinese Officials to Bolster Cooperation

Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, engaged in discussions with Yuan Jiajun, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Party Secretary of Chongqing, along with several senior officials. The meeting was a part of H.H.'s official visit to the People's Republic of China.

According to Emirates News Agency, discussions during the meeting focused on augmenting cooperation across sectors such as advanced technology, industry, and renewable energy. The leaders also explored investment and trade opportunities between Ajman and Chongqing. An invitation was extended by H.H. Sheikh Ammar to Yuan Jiajun and other Chongqing government leaders to visit Ajman, aiming to enhance collaborative relations and strengthen ties between the two regions.

H.H. Sheikh Ammar highlighted the importance of promoting innovation and utilizing advanced technologies across various fields to achieve sustainable development. He emphasized that partnerships with major Chinese cities are crucial for driving growth and prosperity for both parties. He also mentioned the launch of 'Ajman Vision 2030' in 2024, which aims to create a competitive business environment and an investment climate that spurs economic growth. The visit was seen as a step towards building strategic partnerships with Chongqing, particularly in areas like clean energy, smart infrastructure, and waste management.

Yuan Jiajun expressed the significance of China-UAE relations and noted that the Crown Prince's visit opens new prospects for cooperation, especially in digital economy, manufacturing, and sustainable development sectors. Chongqing, being one of China's largest cities with a strategic location, plays a pivotal role in enhancing cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and China.
