Muscat: H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation, visited Al Baraka Palace in Muscat to offer condolences to Honourable Lady, Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah Al Busaidiyah, the wife of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, on the passing of her mother.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikha Fatima expressed her heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the Al Busaidi family and the Omani people during the reception. She prayed for Allah Almighty to grant mercy and forgiveness to the deceased and to provide patience and solace to her family and loved ones.
H.H. Sheikha Fatima also highlighted the strong fraternal ties between the two countries and emphasized the commitment to continue strengthening these bonds. In response, the Honorable Lady expressed gratitude for Sheikha Fatima's sentiments and wished her continued health and wellness, affirming the enduring relationship between the two nations.
The delegation accompanying H.H. Sheikha Fatima, consisting of several sheikhas, officials, and female leaders from the UAE, also extended their condolences. H.H. Sheikha Fatima and her delegation arrived earlier in Oman to offer their respects on the occasion.
