Rome: The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, discussed, today, Monday, with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, on the sidelines of the Italy-Africa Summit in Rome, cooperation between Libya and the European Union in many fields.
During the meeting, according to the Prime Minister’s Media Office, the two parties discussed cooperation mechanisms between Libya and Europe in the field of clean energy and ways to combat irregular migration.
Dabaiba and Michel stressed support for the initiative of the UN envoy to Libya, Abdullah Batili, and the importance of consolidating stability efforts in the region, in addition to the importance of launching the Libyan-European strategic dialogue on migration issues
