Diriyah Dates Festival Sees Huge Turnout

The Diriyah Dates Festival, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the Diriyah Governorate, has attracted a large number of exhibitors and visitors. People are coming to the festival to buy different kinds of dates grown in Diriyah and enjoy various educational, shopping, and entertainment activities.

Visitors and exhibitors interviewed have praised the festival’s wide selection of high-quality dates available in the date market, all locally produced in Diriyah. They have highlighted the distinctive attractions at the event, such as educational exhibitions, showcases of Saudi dates, palm tree exhibitions, a children’s theatre, and displays of handicrafts from local families working in the cottage industry.
