A meeting held today, Wednesday, in Sana’a, headed by Industry and Trade Minister in the caretaker government, Muhammad Al-Mutahhar, discussed the conditions of the Yemeni General Corporation for Cement Manufacturing and Marketing, and plans to develop work in the corporation and its affiliated factories.
At the meeting, the Minister of Industry stressed the importance of raising performance level , advancing the reality of the institution and its affiliated factories according to a modern vision that contributes to developing the production and marketing process of cement factories and translates the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership to improve the reality of local productive industries based on local raw materials.
He pointed out that the corporation has the full potential to compete and achieve a qualitative leap in the cement industry, noting that the decision to ban the import of foreign cement paves the way for the national cement industry to develop and modernize.
In turn, the
Chairman of the Corporation’s Board of Directors, Yahya Ataifa, appreciated the interest of the leadership of the Ministry of Industry in the Cement Manufacturing and Marketing Corporation and the advancement of the production process in its factories.
He stressed the continuation of the process of development and modernization.
He also pointed out that the will and determination to achieve success is sufficient to overcome all difficulties and translate development plans into reality.
