Discussing mechanisms for enhancing aspects of cooperation between Standards Authority and Consumer Protection Association


A meeting held on Monday in Sana’a, chaired by the Director General of the Yemeni Standards, Metrology and Quality Control Authority, Sam Al-Bashiri, discussed ways to enhance aspects of cooperation and coordination between the authority and the Yemeni Society for Consumer Protection.



At the meeting, in the presence of the President of the Yemeni Society for Consumer Protection, Fadl Muqbil Mansour, it was agreed to prepare a joint action plan and begin implementing it during the current year 1445 AH.



During the meeting, the Director General of the Authority stressed the importance of joint cooperation between the two sides and concerted efforts in a way that contributes to consumer protection.



For his part, the President of the Association praised the role of the Authority and its efforts to protect the consumer, calling for strengthening ways of cooperation between the two sides in a way that works to serve and protect the consumer.
