Abu Dhabi: Dolphin Energy Limited has officially become a sponsor of the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi’s (EAD) Abu Dhabi Mangrove Initiative (ADMI), as announced by EAD. The collaboration is set to bolster holistic restoration efforts over a five-year period.
According to Emirates News Agency, The sponsorship agreement outlines Dolphin Energy Limited’s commitment to a comprehensive mangrove and coastal restoration programme that includes scientific assessments, monitoring, and education. By signing the ADMI pledge, Dolphin Energy Limited aligns itself with the initiative’s five key pillars: research, innovation, partnership, protection, and education.
ADMI was initially introduced during the visit of HRH Prince William, the Prince of Wales, to the UAE, where he met with H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, at Jubail Mangrove Park in February 2022. To date, ADMI has garnered support from 16 international and local partners.

She emphasized that the collaboration with Dolphin Energy Limited aims to generate a significant impact on nature, climate, and society through science-based restoration efforts.
Obaid Abdulla Al Dhaheri, Chief Executive Officer of Dolphin Energy Limited, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, underscoring the importance of business involvement in addressing pressing environmental challenges. He noted that the sponsorship aligns with Dolphin Energy’s decarbonisation strategy and enhances its relationship with EAD. The partnership is expected to further the objectives of the ADMI through combined efforts and strategies.

nternational levels, facilitating collaboration through workshops, conferences, and training sessions. The partnership programme remains open to stakeholders and institutions interested in contributing to nature-based solutions and restoration efforts globally.
