Dubai Chamber of Commerce Convenes Key Meeting to Boost Private Sector Competitiveness

Dubai: Dubai Chamber of Commerce, operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, recently held the second quarterly meeting of Business Groups and Business Councils for 2026. The event saw the participation of 64 business groups and councils.

According to Emirates News Agency, participants were informed about Dubai Chamber of Commerce's initiatives aimed at enhancing the readiness of various economic sectors, supporting business continuity, and ensuring the seamless flow of trade and investment in Dubai. The session also underscored the chamber's key priorities for the upcoming months.

Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, emphasized the critical role of Business Groups and Business Councils in bolstering the competitiveness of Dubai's investment landscape and strengthening trade relationships, particularly in the context of current conditions. She highlighted the robust public-private sector partnership that continues to propel the emirate's growth.

The chamber expressed its commitment to fostering a supportive business environment that promotes sustainable growth and encourages effective collaboration among stakeholders across all sectors. This effort aims to further solidify Dubai's status as a leading global hub for business and investment.

The event also featured an in-depth panel discussion focusing on the role of government readiness and agility in enabling businesses to operate, adapt, and expand. Representatives from Dubai Customs, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai, and Dubai Municipality participated in the session.
