Recommendations highlighted the importance of inclusive urban design and integrating smart mobility solutions with renewable energy systems to achieve balanced social, economic, and environmental objectives.
Further, the Forum advocated for public-private partnerships to fund sustainable urban initiatives, supported by policies that promote environmentally responsible practices. It stressed the importance of embedding sustainability and innovation in project planning to align commercial goals with eco-friendly design and green technologies.
In terms of digital transformation, the DIPMF participants emphasised adopting artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics to improve operations and support data-driven decisions. They recommended using digital twin and blockchain technologies to enhance transparency and security, and highlighted Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for automating routine tasks.
The Forum also underscored the need to upskill workforces in AI, robotics, and AR/VR technologies, fostering data-driven decision-making for future industries. This includes creating roles such as AI governance specialists and digital transformation leaders, aligning workforce strategies with the evolving project economy.
Participants called for value-driven project management practices that meet stakeholder expectations and align with strategic objectives. They recommended developing AI-powered frameworks to enhance workflow efficiency and advocated for aligning projects with the circular economy and UN Sustainable Development Goals.
