Abu Dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired the recent meeting of the Ministerial Development Council at Qasr Al Watan. The council focused on the progress of various government projects and programs, while also deliberating on proposed regulatory decisions affecting multiple sectors within the government.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting's agenda featured discussions on draft legislation from ministries and federal entities, particularly concerning the tax system and capital market sector. The council also examined regulatory decisions related to government services for targeted groups, as well as issues concerning community development and higher education.
The council's review extended to the outcomes of implemented government policies and initiatives in areas like industrial development, Emiratization, and the labor market. Furthermore, there was a significant focus on the state's adoption of clean energy sources and energy efficiency enhancement. The formation of several federal committees was also discussed to expedite the implementation of government projects. Additionally, the council considered recommendations from the Federal National Council on technical education, vocational training, and judicial training within the country.
