Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Jordan's King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein emphasized the necessity of fully implementing the agreement to cease hostilities in the Gaza Strip. They also urged for the execution of the peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump and the unobstructed delivery of humanitarian aid to the area. Additionally, they called for the immediate initiation of early recovery and reconstruction efforts.

According to Emirates News Agency, during their meeting in Cairo, the Egyptian President and the Jordanian King highlighted the unwavering stance of both nations against any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their homeland. Their discussions also covered the ongoing developments in the West Bank, where both leaders denounced violations and arbitrary actions against Palestinians.

The leaders reiterated that the creation of an independent Palestinian state, based on the pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, remains the sole viable solution for achieving enduring peace and stability in the Middle East.
