Hasher bin Maktoum Inaugurates Major Technology and Media Events at Dubai World Trade Centre

Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated, today officially inaugurated the 31st edition of CABSAT, the inaugural SATExpo Middle East, and the third edition of Integrate Middle East at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). These prominent events focus on content creation, post-production, broadcast, satellite management, distribution, satcom, space tech, and Pro AV industries and are scheduled from May 13 to 15, 2025.

According to Emirates News Agency, the events are organized by DWTC and are expected to draw substantial attendance, with CABSAT 2025 welcoming over 18,000 visitors, SATExpo Middle East hosting more than 8,000 guests, and Integrate Middle East set to attract around 10,000 attendees. H.H. Sheikh Hasher, alongside Abdul Rahman Obaid Abu Al Shawareb, Executive Vice President of Protocol and Security at DWTC, toured the exhibitions, engaging with exhibitors such as Ross Video, Live Media, and Panasonic, among others.

CABSAT is set to feature over 700 exhibiting brands from more than 120 countries, with 150 globally recognized speakers and industry experts leading discussions on pivotal industry trends at the Content Congress. The event provides platforms for networking and knowledge exchange, including the Co-Production Salon, a meeting space to explore opportunities in the Arabic content creation landscape.

Alex Nicholl, Vice President at Dubai World Trade Centre, expressed pride in the collaborative efforts showcased at the events, highlighting their role in connecting innovators, creators, and industry leaders. "These events not only highlight the region's growing influence in media, satellite, and Pro AV sectors but also reflect our continued commitment to fostering meaningful connections, driving knowledge exchange, and supporting the ambitions of our partners from around the world," he stated.

Visitors have the opportunity to explore the production facilities at Dubai Studio City, a strategic partner of CABSAT 2025. The site is the largest media, entertainment, and broadcasting hub in the region, featuring extensive production resources. Majed Al Suwaidi, Senior Vice President of Dubai Media City, emphasized the role of innovation in reshaping the global media landscape and the value of Dubai Studio City as a platform for industry transformation.

Integrate Middle East 2025, co-located with CABSAT, serves as a unique platform for Pro AV and system integration leaders and buyers. The event showcases over 700 brands from more than 75 countries, highlighting the latest advancements in Pro AV technology.

SATExpo Middle East 2025 marks its debut with participation from leading industry players like Intelsat, Arabsat, Nilesat, Eutelsat, and others. The SATExpo Summit will feature key industry figures such as Prof. Dr. Klaus Schilling and Prof. Sherif Sedky, discussing critical topics like space industry responsibility and the role of space agencies in empowering SMEs.
