The Minister of Communications and Information Technology in the caretaker government, Eng. Misfer Al-Numeer, confirmed that submarine cable ships must obtain a permit from the Maritime Affairs in Sana’a before entering Yemeni territorial waters.
Minister Al-Numair explained in a post on the “X” platform that the Ministry of Communications is ready to help meet the requests for authorization and identification of ships with the Yemeni naval forces. He pointed out that this procedure comes out of concern for its safety.
