Riyadh: The Mahd Football Academy team will participate in the third edition of the “Karlovy Vary Football Championship” for teams born in 2012, which will be held in the Czech Republic from June 8-9. Several international teams will participate in this tournament.
The Mahd team’s delegation, which includes 16 players in addition to the technical and administrative staff supervising the team, will leave for the Czech Republic tomorrow, Tuesday. This is the team’s first participation, with the aim of playing international matches at an early age to develop the capabilities of talents through exposure to various football schools.
The Saudi Mahd team will participate in the tournament along with the English club Liverpool and the German clubs Bayern Munich, Hertha Berlin, and Dynamo Berlin. Other participating teams will include the Spanish team Valencia, the Slovenian team Bratislava, and the Czech clubs Slavia Prague, Sparta Prague, and Slavia
