Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, has praised Egypt for its record-breaking participation in the preliminary stages of the 10th Arab Reading Challenge. This year, the event witnessed the involvement of 20 million students from Egypt's Ministry of Education and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif schools.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the significance of Egypt's achievement, stating, "Today, the Arab Republic of Egypt celebrated a generation of readers. Twenty million Egyptian students from the Ministry of Education and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif participated in this year's Arab Reading Challenge." He further expressed his admiration for Egypt, its people, and its leadership for fostering a generation dedicated to culture, learning, and knowledge.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed also expressed his anticipation of welcoming these participants to Dubai in October, alongside contenders from over 60 countries participating in this year's challenge. He emphasized his pride in the millions of students worldwide who embrace the divine command to 'Read', which was the first command revealed to humanity.
