Jeddah: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly denounced the actions of Israeli occupation forces, which prevented thousands from reaching the Al-Aqsa Mosque and engaged in direct confrontations with worshippers. The use of tear gas and poisonous gas within the mosque’s courtyards resulted in numerous injuries and arrests. These actions are seen as clear violations of international norms and human values.
The organization has urged the international community to intervene and compel Israel to cease its repeated infringements on the freedom of worship and the sanctity of Al-Quds holy sites. The OIC has reiterated its call for the implementation of United Nations resolutions aimed at halting Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
Furthermore, the Organization renewed its appeal for ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to all areas of the Gaza Strip, underscoring the pressing need to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian population amidst ongoing hostilities.
