Jeddah, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha today attended the inauguration of Republic of Chad President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno. President Déby Itno took the oath after winning the presidential election held on May 6, marking the end of the transition period. The presence of the OIC secretary-general at the ceremony allowed him to offer his congratulations and best wishes for success to the first elected president of the Fifth Republic.
