Riyadh, President of Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Aameri received here today visiting Pakistani Minister of Federal Education and Vocational Training Shafqat Mahmood, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of several university officials.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Aameri welcomed the Pakistani delegation and briefed them on the university’s role in spreading Islamic and Arabic sciences through its Sharia and scientific faculties and institutes at home and abroad.
The two sides also discussed means to enhance cooperation between the university and Pakistani counterparts as well as exchanging expertise, programs and projects to support improving education and developing curricula.
For his part, the Pakistani Minister thanked the Rector of the University for the kind reception and praised the strong relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
