President of Slovenia Visits Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.


ABU DHABI: Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar, President of the Republic of Slovenia, visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, accompanied by Natalija Mansour, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the UAE, and the accompanying delegation. The visit highlighted the cultural and architectural significance of one of the UAE’s most iconic landmarks.

According to Emirates News Agency, the President of Slovenia and the delegation commenced their tour at the mosque by visiting the mausoleum of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The visit was a moment of reflection on the values and wise leadership of the Founding Father, whose legacy has fostered a culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among nations globally.

Dr. Yousif Al Obaidli, Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center, guided the delegation through the mosque’s halls and outer corridors. The tour provided insights into the mosque’s civilizational message, which advocates for coexistence, tolerance, and openness, rooted in th
e values of the Founding Father. The delegation also explored the significant role of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center in promoting a tolerant Islamic culture and enhancing cultural communication between diverse peoples and cultures worldwide.

The delegation was briefed on the grand mosque’s history, aesthetics, and the exquisite Islamic architectural arts displayed throughout its structure. The mosque’s unique artifacts and Islamic civilization’s finest contributions were highlighted, showcasing the beauty of cultural harmony in a single creative work.
