Riyadh: The Riyadh Airports Company Academy, a subsidiary of Riyadh Airports Company (RAC) responsible for managing and operating King Khalid International Airport, received a membership plaque from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for the TRAINAIR PLUS Programme (TPP) after it participated in the ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium (ICAO GISS) 2024 held recently in the Dominican Republic.
CEO of RAC Ayman Abdulaziz AboAbah expressed his delight at this achievement, highlighting its significant contribution to the Riyadh Airports Company Academy’s mission in supporting the company’s commitment to developing the aviation sector and airport management in the Kingdom. This achievement, he said, reflects the academy’s adherence to all international standards within its accredited training programs to enhance the efficiency of human capital, thus achieving the goals of the National Aviation Strategy in parallel with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
He indicated that the TPP membe
rship will enhance the academy’s role in providing, designing, and hosting accredited training programs, as well as international conferences, as a trusted entity in the Kingdom. He added that this grants it the right to directly transfer knowledge from international legislative bodies in this regard.
