MOSCOW: The Russian National Arabian Horse Championship, held in partnership with the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup, concluded on Sunday evening at the Heritage Centre in the Russian capital of Moscow.
Dr. Mohammed Ahmed bin Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to the Russian Federation, and Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director-General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), attended the closing ceremony of the event and crowned the winners.
The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup’s partnership and role in the championship is an embodiment of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EAHS, to support Arabian horses worldwide, and with the follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of EAHS Board of Directors.
This move comes as part of the EAHS efforts to expand its support for Arabian horse owners and breeders around the world, as this championship w
as held with the participation of an Emirati technical team and a judging panel comprised fully of Gulf nationals, including judges, ringmasters and members of the disciplinary committee.
The EAHS also aims to support judges from the Gulf by creating more international championships that provide them with a great deal of experience, improving their capabilities.
