Jakarta, Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh today in Jakarta handed over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s support to build the mosque of the Education College at Syarif Hidayatullah University, which is the biggest Islamic university in Indonesia.
University President Dr. Amany Lubis received the support in the presence of the Religious Attache at the Saudi embassy in Jakarta Sheikh Ahmad Al-Hazimi.
Lubis expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for what they offer of dignified deeds in serving Islam and Muslims and spreading Sharia sciences, noting that the mosque will be a beacon of science and call to spread the true values of Islam and teaching the Arabic language, and will also serve faculty members, college personnel and residents of adjacent neighborhoods. She noted that the mosque will be constructed according to modern architectural patterns and will be provided with all necessary equipment.
