Riyadh, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba” and the Ministry of Education, achieved two global awards at the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad 2022 (APIO 2022), which was organized by the Republic of Egypt virtually, with the participation of 900 students, representing 35 countries, during the period from May 20-29, 2022.
Abdul Mohsen Saleh, Saudi student at 3rd secondary grade from Jeddah Education Department, and Adib Al-Shehri, Saudi student at 1st Secondary grade from Eastern Education Department, won two bronze medals.
During its second participation in the Olympics, the Kingdom, represented by the Mawhiba and the Ministry of Education, raised awards to three.
