Jakarta, The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is carrying out its steadfast role of digital enabler of the Makkah Route Initiative, which was launched by the Ministry of Interior as part of the Pilgrim Experience Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
This year, SDAIA is collaborating with government agencies to implement the initiative at 11 airports in seven countries.
One such country is Indonesia, where SDAIA utilizes advanced technical systems and infrastructure in the pilgrim hall at Jakarta International Airport, to help simplify their Hajj experience.
The setup includes 12 interconnected workstations equipped with state-of-the-art technologies integrated in SDAIA’s National Information Center (NIC) systems, which expedite pilgrims’ procedures. A team of engineers from SDAIA provides 24/7 technical support for the systems and workstations throughout the initiative.
This reflects SDAIA’s commitment to leveraging AI, innovation, and digital transformation to deliver exceptional
services to pilgrims.
