Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a site for the establishment of the headquarters of the Sharjah Cooperative Society for Fishermen (SCSF) in the Al Khalidiya suburb of Sharjah city.
According to Emirates News Agency, this approval is part of Sheikh Dr. Sultan’s ongoing efforts to support the marine fishing sector. The initiative aims to strengthen the role of cooperative societies in serving fishermen and to provide an integrated regulatory environment. This environment is expected to contribute to the development of the fishing profession and improve the services offered to society members.
