Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Emiri decree merging Al Muntather and Mahafiz nature reserves in Sharjah.
According to Emirates News Agency, the decree stipulates that the two nature reserves, Al Muntather and Mahafiz, will be combined into a single reserve under the name "Al Muntather Nature Reserve." The decree outlines specific geographical boundaries for the newly formed reserve, detailed in the maps attached to the decree.
Furthermore, His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan issued an Emiri Decree to rename the Al Mutasannad Nature Reserve in the Emirate of Sharjah. As per the decree, the name "Musannad Nature Reserve" will now be referred to as "Al Mutasannad Nature Reserve" in all legislative, administrative, financial, legal, and other related matters.
