Singapore: Singapore's economy grew by 4.8% in 2025, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said in his New Year message on Wednesday.
According to Emirates News Agency, Wong stated that this growth was stronger than expected, given the circumstances. He emphasized that while the growth is a positive outcome, sustaining this pace will be challenging. Wong highlighted that fractured trade and geopolitical tensions are not transient issues but are instead permanent features of a fragmented world.
