Sultan bin Ahmed Tours Cabinet Affairs Ministry Office in Dubai

Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, visited the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs on Thursday morning. Upon his arrival at Emirates Towers in Dubai, he was welcomed by Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Sultan commended the national efforts led by the Cabinet under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. These efforts focus on fostering a culture of institutional excellence and advancing the UAE's government work system. He noted the importance of promoting excellence and international best practices, which have driven significant improvements in performance and strengthened the UAE's position as a regional and global benchmark for competitiveness and leadership.

During the visit, H.H. Sheikh Sultan stressed embedding a culture of excellence across government entities. He emphasized that excellence begins with talent development, innovation, and responsibility. He added that this culture enhances service quality, improves operational efficiency, and raises customer satisfaction, supporting government development objectives and proactive services.

The Deputy Ruler appreciated the Office team for their warm reception and presentation on institutional excellence and government performance development. He praised their commitment to sharing expertise and highlighted the importance of cooperation between federal and local entities. Such collaboration enhances government efficiency and strengthens a culture of ongoing improvement, reinforcing the UAE's global reputation.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi affirmed that the UAE Government Excellence System strengthens global leadership and competitiveness. He noted that it operates within an advanced legislative framework and draws on international expertise to deliver projects aligned with national visions.

H.H. Sheikh Sultan discussed strengthening cooperation in the Government Excellence System and performance development. He was briefed on updates to the UAE Government's performance system and efforts to entrench a culture of excellence. He reviewed a presentation on the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award, which encourages entities to adopt best practices.

The Deputy Ruler was briefed on the UAE Government Excellence System, a pioneering model for government development. He also learned about the 'Legislative Intelligence' project, which uses AI to analyze laws and assess their impact on sectors, contributing to legislative development.

H.H. Sheikh Sultan was informed about the "Artificial Intelligence Advisor" project, supporting the Cabinet and Ministerial Council for AI and Development. The project provides tools for decision-makers, supporting efficient decision-making.

H.H. Sheikh Sultan visited various government initiatives, including the Influencers Headquarters and the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation. He reviewed the UAE's digital transformation journey and AI strategies. At Dubai Future Labs and the Dubai Centre for AI applications, he learned about an AI-powered assistant platform enhancing productivity.

He then visited Service Centre 1, an integrated government platform for developing services, combining service delivery with efficiency and customer experience. The tour concluded at the Government Accelerators centre, a model for fast-tracking projects and addressing government challenges.

H.H. Sheikh Sultan was accompanied by several officials, including Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Omar Sultan Al Olama, Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Huda Al Hashimi, Saeed Al Eter, and other senior officials.
