The French Embassy in Libya announced that French exports to Libya reached their highest level since 2015 last year.
The embassy said on its official Facebook page that French exports to Libya reached their highest level in 2023 since 2015, reaching 301 million euros (325 million US dollars), an increase of 36.4% compared to 2022.
The French Embassy considered the increase in exports an indication of the resumption of economic and trade relations between the two countries, noting the diversity of French exports to Libya, which mainly consist of medicines, agricultural products, industrial and agricultural machinery, chemicals, perfumes, cosmetics, and refined products.
