According to Emirates News Agency, Wellens completed the race less than 10 seconds behind overall winner Tobias Svarre from Uno-X Mobility, with Antonio Tiberi of Bahrain Victorious taking second place. The trio demonstrated their dominance throughout the event, particularly during stage 3 to Labin, which was pivotal in their podium finishes.
The CRO Race also brought success to the entire UAE Team Emirates-XRG, as Wellens' teammate Sebasti¡n Molano claimed victory in stage 1 and held the leader's jersey for two days. Teammates Domen Novak and Rui Oliveira also achieved top-three finishes in subsequent stages, contributing to the team's impressive season total of 74 victories. This performance has helped the Emirati squad maintain their lead in the UCI WorldTeam rankings.
