Baghdad Al-Kuwait Club will be the guest of Al-Mina team this evening, Monday, in a friendly match on the occasion of the opening of Al-Mina International Stadium in Basra, which will host the second group matches in the Gulf 25 that includes Kuwait, the Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar.
Al-Mina administration completed all the administrative aspects and logistical matters for holding this festive match against the Kuwaiti team, which arrived yesterday evening in Basra by road with a delegation headed by the club’s president, Khaled Al-Ghanim, and included members of the administrative, technical and medical staff, in addition to 19 players.
According to the protocol prepared by the Organizing Committee for this ceremony, the technical conference between the coaches of the two teams will be held this morning, to be preceded by a morning training unit for the Kuwaiti team on the Olympic Mina Stadium, in which the celebrations will start from six until eight in the evening today.
