Washington, The United States of America recorded 163,164 new infections and 1,647 deaths of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours.

Statistics from the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced today that the total number of the virus infections in the country has jumped to 40,523,954, while the number of deaths reached 652,480.
