BUENOS AIRES: Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, UAE Ambassador to the Argentine Republic, met with Diana Elena Mondino, Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, at the headquarters of the Ministry in the capital, Buenos Aires.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the close ties between both countries, and discussed several topics of mutual interest.

Al Qamzi affirmed the UAE’s keenness to advance bilateral relations and enhance them across various fields, which contribute to fostering ties between the UAE and the Argentine Republic.

For her side, Mondino underscored Argentina’s keenness to reinforce ties with the UAE, to achieve the interests and aspirations of both countries and peoples.

Rome: Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, during their meeting in Rome today, Monday, followed developments in activating the Libyan-Italian friendship treaty and supported the efforts of the committees assigned by the two countries to resume work on the terms of the agreement and implement the projects that Rome has committed earlier to in Libya.

During the meeting, according to the Prime Minister’s Media Office, the two sides discussed ways to continue cooperation between Libya and Italy in files of an economic nature, including those related to oil and gas and intra-trade between the two countries.

The two parties discussed security developments, irregular migration, ways to enhance Italian interest in the African continent, and coordination to organize more international events inside Libya.

According to the media office, the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the Italy-Africa Summit held in Rome, was attended by the
Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, Khalifa Abdel-Sadiq
