UAE to Resume Humanitarian Aid Airdrops to Gaza Strip Amid Critical Situation

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has announced that the United Arab Emirates will immediately resume airdrops of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip as the region faces an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the UAE’s leading role in delivering essential assistance to the Palestinian people. He reiterated the country’s commitment through a post on the social media platform “X”, stating, “We will continue delivering relief support to those most in need – by land, air, and sea,” highlighting the resumption of aid operations.

The UAE has been actively involved in humanitarian initiatives aimed at providing urgent relief and medical aid to Gaza residents. Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the UAE’s unwavering commitment to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The UAE was one of the first nations to respond to the crisis, establishing air and sea bridges to deliver aid. A significant initiative, the “Birds of Goodness” operation, has already executed numerous airdrops of food and relief supplies to the region.
