Sharjah: Exhibitors at the 55th Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, scheduled from May 28 to June 1, are set to unveil impressive curation of luxury gold jewellery and diamond collections, aiming to achieve Guinness World Records.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event is organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). It provides a strategic platform for showcasing intricately crafted jewellery creations and luxurious watches, solidifying its status as one of the largest and most prominent gatherings for industry leaders and jewellery designers in the region.
The exhibition is recognised as a strategic launchpad for exclusive designs and high-end innovations, attracting elite designers and key global jewellery markets. The 55th edition will host over 500 local and international exhibitors, including major global companies and prestigious brands in luxury gold jewellery, exquisite timepieces, and precious gemstones. Additionally, it will feature 1,800 high-profile designers, manufacturers, and industry experts.
As a highlight of the exhibition, Amaar Jewels will showcase a record-breaking 108-meter diamond necklace, designed to enter the Guinness World Records. This extraordinary piece consists of more than 600 lab-grown diamonds, precisely set in 18-karat rose gold. The official Guinness assessment of this masterpiece is scheduled for the first day of the show.
With visitor turnout expected to surpass 80,000, the exhibition coincides with the Eid Al Adha holiday, enhancing its allure for jewellery and watch enthusiasts. Attendees can explore exclusive jewellery designs, rare gold pieces, luxury watches, and signature diamond collections, all while enjoying competitive pricing aimed at boosting customer acquisition.
The event features a diverse spectrum of exhibitors from leading markets, including the UAE, India, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore, China, Japan, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Lebanon. This edition also marks the first-time participation of several countries, such as Russia, Mexico, Tanzania, and Egypt.
