Terrorist attacks” by the Houthi militias on the oil installations have deprived Yemen of 70 percent of state resources, said the head of the Presidential Council Rashad Al-Alimi on Monday.
The Yemeni news agency, Saba’, said Al-Alimi’s statement came during a meeting between him, along with the presidential council members Abdullah al-Alimi and Othman Majli, with Hadramot Governor Mabkhout Madhi and local leaders, during which they discussed living conditions and repercussions of the Houthi militias’ attacks on the oil installations.
Al-Alimi praised abundant aid, provided by member states of the coalition for supporting the legitimacy, namely Saudi Arabia, despite hindrances in the face of funding, caused by the militias.
He has also indicated that the presidential council and the government have been tackling issues hindering the dispatch of aid from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and other donors.
