Abu Dhabi: Under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, the Zayed Grand Prize Camel Race 2024 will commence next Monday, 25th November, and will run until 1st December at Al Wathba Camel Racetrack in Abu Dhabi.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Zayed Grand Prize Camel Race will see the participation of thousands of camel owners from across the UAE and the GCC countries. Organised by the UAE Camel Racing Federation under the leadership of Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, the event will feature a total of 217 rounds of competitions.
Among these competitions, 13 rounds are specifically designated for participants aged 15 to 20. The organising committee has announced a grand prize of AED 100,000 for the first-place winner, with substantial cash prizes available for those placing up to tenth p
osition.
This event is particularly significant for participants as it is the only competition named in honor of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
