His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired the Ministerial Development Council meeting, which was held at Qasr Al Watan, Abu Dhabi.
The meeting discussed a number of legislations and policies aiming at supporting and developing the government work ecosystem, including the climate action strategies and initiatives of the UAE.
The agenda included discussing a number of policies on clean energy, national strategies to support the environmental ecosystem in the UAE, as well as the country’s participation in international efforts in response to climate change.
The Council also discussed a number of legislations in the industrial, financial and educational sectors, in addition to reviewing several reports on the country’s participation in a number of global and regional events.
The Council reviewed a number of proposals aimed at enhancing the efficiency of government services, as well as discussing Government reports in
the field of e-commerce and industrial waste.
The meeting also reviewed a report on the compliance of government entities and bodies with cybersecurity standards, as well as the updates on the implementation of the new housing policy of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, the Use of Artificial Intelligence Applications in Government Work, and a number of programmes promoting the efficiency of the UAE’s labour market.
