Riyadh, The Ministry of Education will celebrate World Teachers’ Day, which falls on 5 October each year, under the theme “The transformation of education begins with the teachers”, with three days of events, programs, and activities that will be implemented in schools and education departments, beginning on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
The Ministry of Education is organizing a special celebration for Teacher’s Day at its headquarters in Riyadh. The event will feature performance of “The Vision’s Teacher” operetta and will hold an activity entitled “For Teachers and Students” to express their celebration of Teachers’ Day. In addition, a word of gratitude will be given for teachers on this occasion, and a number of activities will be held in schools in which students and teachers express gratitude for the role of the teacher in the growth and development of learners.
On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, the education departments, offices and schools in all regions and governorates will honor teachers by devoting the school radio program to presenting paragraphs that express the role of the teachers in education, highlighting their efforts through student participation, and holding events, programs, and activities that demonstrate the high regard and appreciation that they enjoy. They will emphasize the pivotal role that teachers play in the educational process and the effort and dedication they put forth in developing and instilling sound, correct, and patriotic values and principles in their students’ hearts.
By celebrating World Teachers’ Day, the Ministry of Education aims to affirm the teachers’ strong and influential status and role in the educational process, to enhance his/her role and position in the hearts of students, and to emphasize the teacher’s role in building generations by establishing and strengthening positive initiatives.
