Khartoum, President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received in his office here today, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Eng. Abdurrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Ali bin Hassan Jaafar.

Al-Fadhli said, in a press statement, that his visit to Sudan came in the context of cooperation and close relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and The Sudan, in addition to achieving Saudi investments in various fields, including energy, mining, water, agriculture, livestock and other fields.

Eng. Al-Fadhli added that the two sides reached understandings regarding the next steps in this context, noting that the meetings and discussions with Sudanese officials were positive and fraternal.

He affirmed that the President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council directed overcoming of all obstacles that could hinder Saudi investments in Sudan.
